Eating a vegan diet means that there are no animal products used in food, such as eggs, dairy, all meats, poultry, and seafood. With a diet that is so specific, it is not always easy to come up with a recipe that not only tastes good but does not require a lot of time to make it. Although there are limited choices of food items when it comes to eating vegan, you can, however, be extremely creative with the vegan recipes that you choose to make. One example of this is the vegan acai bowl. You can do all kinds of variations with this type of dish, and they are relatively easy to make.

You can find any vegan acai bowl recipe and customize it any way that you like. This vegan acai bowl recipe is surprisingly easy to make. Acai bowls are extremely healthy and you will feel very light and energized after eating it. It is very satisfying and can be made rather quickly.

The Recipe

Acai bowls are made from the Brazillian fruit and are very healthy for you. There are filled with antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, fiber, and even protein.  A vegan acai bowl consists of acai pureed or a smoothie followed with fresh fruit, granola, coconut, and/or agave. Nuts and seeds or any nut butter can be added as well. This is an extremely healthy snack as you get a lot of antioxidants. These vegan acai bowls can be customized in any way you like. If you don’t like seeds or nuts that you can leave that out.  You can add almond milk as well to make it more of a smoothie than a bowl. The acai bowl is a completely blank canvas. You can put in whatever you like in the bowl. It is extremely nutritious and can be mixed up to provide all kinds of different varieties.

If you are not creative and cannot think of what to put in a vegan acai bowl there are plenty of recipes out there that you can turn to. Each recipe contains slightly different ingredients. You can browse through the recipes and find one that you would like to try. Acai packets are readily available at most grocery stores to get you started with the base for the bowl. If you don’t like it or think that it needs something more, then you can add ingredients in or tweak what you have to put into the bowl. All the recipes that you find are different, so you will never get bored with making this delicious bowl.
