If you are like me, then summer is one of the most important times of the year to be looking your best. To do this though, you may feel that you require a lot of willpower. While this is true, it does not have to be as hard as a lot of people make out.
This is because getting into shape is not just about your diet, it is also about exercise. If you are able to start exercising well then your body will follow. For as Mike Ditka said, For people really wanting to stay healthy, it is important to get plenty of rest, exercise regularly and watch what you eat. Exercise is a key component to keeping weight down.
As such, it is important to get a good compromise between all of them, simply by planning properly. If you can ensure that you eat well and get a good exercise routine then the rest should follow. But how should you do this?
Step One
The first thing to do is to plan.
Whether you are using proper treatments such as heavy metals detox or you simply want to do everything at home, planning is key. If you can plan ahead and know what you want to get done each day, the rest should follow easily – it is all about knowing ahead what you will do.
If you can do this, the rest will follow, simply because saying you want to be healthy isn’t enough – you need to fully plan how you will do it, and stick to that.
Step Two and Three
Following on from one, you need to customise your plan. Your routine has to work around you – so do not worries if to begin with you don’t feel you are getting very much exercise done. You need to make sure that your exercise fits in with your life, rather than giving over too much time to getting fit. If you lead a busy lifestyle then it is unlikely that you will be able to give up much time for exercise – but there is nothing wrong with this, as long as the exercise is consistent.
As such, step three – whatever the amount of exercise you have planned, make sure you do it daily, or as close to daily as you can. There is no benefit in having a huge work out once every month – this won’t benefit you in the long run. Even if it is just a small amount of exercise that you get done, doing it consistently is the key, as this will allow you to build up the body that you want, in time for summer.
Final Steps
Step four is to make sure you balance things out. As we’ve already said, it won’t be beneficial to do too much of one thing – you need to vary your healthy work. Try to eat healthily as much as you can – every meal if possible – but do not worry if you don’t constantly manage this.
Make sure that you slot in some exercise every day as well to coincide with your healthy eating, and get a lot of relaxation time in there as well, to make the whole process easier.
Step five is to avoid stress – a lot of the time work and general day to day life can cause a lot of stress, but this is something that you really should avoid. It will not be beneficial to your routine, but you should find that your routine helps to combat stress overall.
Step Six – keep trying. You may be tempted to give up should you miss a stage in the routine, but this does not matter. Simply keep on trying again and again, until you manage to get to the stage of healthiness that you are happy with overall, so you can start to enjoy the summer without worry.
