Running with a group of friends is normally a great way to push someone and enjoy their company, but given the current situation, running with a group of people can easily lead to the spread of COVID-19.

Some gyms are open while others are closed. While weightlifting can be safe if you wear a mask, keep your distance from others, and clean your equipment before and after use —doing cardio can be a bit harder when you are breathing heavily in an enclosed space. A better alternative would be to run outside if possible.

As you are off on your solo run, also make sure you are keeping your distance from others. What does this mean? Be strategic about where you plan on running and avoid crowds as much as possible. This way, you can reduce your chances of catching the virus or spreading it if you are asymptomatic.
